In this course, we will focus on the concept of leadership and responsibility in Islam by learning about the four khalifa who became the successors to Prophet Mohammad (SAW) upon his passing: Abu Bakr (R), Umar (R), Uthman (R), and Ali (R). They represent the greatest types of leadership after Prophet Mohammad (SAW). They showed true compassion and love for their job and responsibilities, a characteristic that all leaders today should learn to emulate. Additionally, students will learn how did Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali (R) earn the title of al-Khulafa ar-Rashidun and what qualities made them exemplary leaders after the passing of our last prophet (PBUH).
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Description:
Allah says in Surah Baqarah that He responds to invocations when humans ask him for something.
Supplication and duaas are some of the most essential things that Muslims can use in their everyday life. It is imperative for kids to start learning duaas at a young age, so that they can begin to implement them and get used to them early on in life. In Islam, “Duaa” literally means appeal or “invocation”, is a prayer of supplication or request. it establishes a powerful connection between Allah (SWT) and his servants, helps Muslims perform daily routine duties in the light of Allah’s guidance, and gaining good deeds by remembering Allah (SWT) at all times.
In this summer camp, we'll focus on teaching some of the most common Duain or daily supplication such as eating, drinking, morning and evening, fasting, needful duaas and azkar when entering Masjid and get out of it, etc. Kids will learn the importance of Duaa, how to recite Duaa the right way in Arabic, the meaning of Dua’s verses, the preferable times to make Duaa and etiquette of Duaa.
